Your ESD coordinator – provided by us
DIN EN IEC 61340-5-1 requires a named ESD coordinator who is accountable for your ESD control programme. Many plants do not have one – or someone who does it on the side. We take on the role.

What the standard requires
Your ESD control programme needs a named coordinator with defined responsibility. Without one, the programme is not compliant – and that shows up in every customer and certification audit.

Calibration
Calibration of your ESD measuring devices
A reading is only as reliable as the instrument behind it. We calibrate your ESD measuring equipment – traceable and documented, with a calibration certificate, defined measurement points and a recommended next calibration date. On request under defined climate conditions in our own climate chamber.

Why calibration is mandatory
The standard requires the effectiveness of your ESD protective measures to be verified with suitable, regularly calibrated measuring equipment. Without a valid calibration record, your readings are not dependable in a customer or certification audit.
The devices we calibrate
- Resistance meters – point-to-point, surface and leakage resistance (e.g. RM-1000, Safe-STAT)
- Personnel grounding testers – wrist strap and footwear/heel testers
- Field meters & charged-plate monitors – electric field strength, ioniser and offset-voltage testing
- Walking-test systems – body voltage measurement (footwear/floor)
- Grounding & insulation meters – for floors, work surfaces and seating
Mail-in or on-site calibration – on request with a loan device for the duration of the calibration and a reminder service before the interval expires.
