Hosting & Content Delivery Network (Cloudflare)
This website (esdl.de) is delivered via the content delivery network (CDN) and proxy/security service of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). As a processor, Cloudflare handles technically required connection data (IP address, requested URL, date/time, browser type) to serve the site quickly, encrypted and protected against attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Third-country transfer: Cloudflare is a US provider with a global network; processing outside the EU/EEA is possible, based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place.
Web analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics, cookieless)
For statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics – cookieless, without cross-device tracking and without profiling. Aggregated usage data is processed (pages viewed, referrer, country, browser/device type). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. No consent is required for this, as no cookies or recognition techniques are used.
Google Ads – conversion measurement (only with your consent)
We run ads on Google and want to understand whether a visit from an ad leads to an enquiry. For this we use Google Ads conversion tracking by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We record whether one of three events follows an ad click: a form submission, a click on our phone number, or a click on our email address. Google stores a recognition identifier (cookie _gcl_au) and processes technical connection data including your IP address. We ourselves receive only aggregated reports from Google, no information about individual people.
Legal basis: your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG. The tag is only loaded after you consent – until then nothing is sent to Google and nothing is stored on your device. We use Google Consent Mode v2; the default is denied. Third-country transfer: processing in the USA is possible, based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR) and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Retention: the identifier expires after 90 days at the latest.
Withdrawal: you can change your decision at any time with effect for the future – withdraw or give consent here. You can also delete the cookies in your browser.
